The discone antenna is an excellent choice for radio systems that use frequency hopping, spread spectrum, or ALE or standard point to point

The antenna can be used with standard military old family radio systems like the RT-524/AN/PRC-77 radios, SINCGARS radios, and Harris AN/PRC-117, THE rf-5800V multiband radio sets. Amateur radio operators would find it very useful with properties of a quarter wave antenna with extreme broadband capability, excellent for solid state finals in the transmitter. It is also excellent for spectrum surveillance

The antenna would lend its self well to HOMELAND DEFENCE , amateur radio (HAM) ,MARS , FAA, FCC, CAP, NSA, SURVEILLANCE, MILITARY, COMMERCIAL,& EMERGENCY, AND SHORT WAVE LISTENING

The discone can also when used with multi-couplers, and duplexers for multiple radio systems as a single antenna for multiple radio system on towers with limited antenna space.
